Our History

STAGE 1

I received a prophetic message from the Lord in April 2006. I was given the first message that- “For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be FAMINE…( Matthew 24:7). Then I was given the second message that “..Jesus said to Simon Peter, ….do you love Me more than these? He said to Him, ‘Yes, Lord; You know that I love you. He said to him, ‘FEED MY LAMBS’. He said to him again a second time…’TEND MY SHEEP’. He said to him the third time…’FEED MY SHEEP” (John 21:15-17).

STAGE 2

SFM has been feeding 130 families of widow and disabled groups in Osogbo, Ibadan, Abeokuta and Lagos since December 2006.

SFM supported the widows in Osogbo to form Shepherd Empowerment Coop in 2020 and provided microfinance opportunity.

STAGE 3

SFM was launched in March 2007 at Lincoln Baptist Church, UK.

STAGE 4

SFM was registered as a charity in the UK in September 2007, then in 2009 SFM was registered as a charity in Nigeria and then registered in USA in 2022.

STAGE 5

SFM acquired 103 acre of farmland in Osun State in 2010. SFM also engages in prayer of intercession by request (Numbers 6:24-26; Hebrews 11:16).

SFM supported smallholder farmers in Kuta to form Shepherd Farmers Coop in 2018 and provided microfinance opportunity.

This charity is the Lord’s doing and it is marvellous in our eyes (Exodus 34:10).

Accountability:

Accountability:

SFM will be accountable to the Lord (Ezekiel 34), its sponsors and beneficiaries. It will publish its financial details annually. It will make a visible impact on improving the livelihoods of beneficiaries.

Transparency:

Transparency:

SFM will be transparent in all its activities and in its dealing with partner organisations. There will be a regular update on its activities on the website. Donors or groups of people are encouraged to visit SFM’s land in Nigeria to witness things for themselves.

Diligence:

Diligence:

SFM will diligently accomplish its objects and will seek to work closely with local and international partners.
