SFM was originally called Shepherd Food Aid International.

History of SFM

SFM is a response to divine calling and to global poverty.

Stage 1: I received a prophetic message from the Lord in April 2006. I was given the first message that-  "For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be FAMINE...( Matthew 24:7). Then I was given the second message that "..Jesus said to Simon Peter, ....do you love Me more than these? He said to Him, 'Yes, Lord; You know that I love you. He said to him, 'FEED MY LAMBS'. He said to him again a second time...'TEND MY SHEEP'. He said to him the third time...'FEED MY SHEEP" (John 21:15-17).

Stage 2: SFM was aunched in March 2007 at Lincoln Baptist Church, UK.

Stage 3: SFM was registered as a charity in the UK in September 2007.

Stage 4: SFM acquired acres of land in two sites in Sagamy and Abeokuta, Ogun State in 2009.

Stage 4: SFM's case work mangers begin working in August, 2008 with two categories of beneficiaries, that is, widows and disabled.

SFM also engages in prayer of intercession by request (Numbers 6:24-26; Hebrews 11:16).

This charity is Lord's doing and it is marvellous in our eyes (Exodus 34:10). Therefore, I make this covenant with the Lord Almighty and with our donors:

Accountability: SFM will be accountable to the Lord (Ezekiel 34) and to its sponsors by publishing its financial details annually and by not using up in overhead morethan it actually gives to its beneficiaries.

Transparency: SFM will be transparent in all its activities and in its dealing with religious organisations. There will be a regular update on its activities on our website and donors or groups of people are encouraged to visit SFM site in Nigeria and in otehr African countries to witness things for themselves.

Diligence: SFM will diligently accomplish its objects and will seek to work closely with religious organisations of all faith and interested international organisations.

Priority Project: our first priority is to buy some acres of land for the farm project. The next priority is to establish solar powered storage facility.

Pool of Professional: SFM uses the skills of indigenous professionals but we encourage professionals around the world to assist us. For example, we need people with expertise in food preservation, nutritionists, doctors, etc (please see our SFM volunteer page).

Invitation to Speak: I am willing to accept invitation from any organisation around the world to come and talk more about the work of the charity.

This widow is one of the beneficiaries of SFM, and has just completed 40 days of mourning for her husband. She said she "had little money even for fares to the church, but was happy to come and receive the food".
