Application
For Food Support Scheme
This is available to vulnerable people who are unable to buy food at subsidized
prices in SFM farm shops. They may be recommended by multi-faith religious
organisations, orphanages and international organisations. They will receive
food support during the period of their capacity building including ICT
training, vocational training, business growth etc.
SFM will consider application from multi-faith religious organisations,
orphanages and/or international organisations such as UN, Oxfam.

Criteria for applicants:
- Organisations should
demonstrate that they have existing scheme for assisting beneficiaries.
- Organisations may
apply to buy food at subsidized prices during festive periods or other
religious events;
- Organisations are
expected to contribute annually to the 'Seed of Food Ministry'.
- Organisations are
encouraged to motivate beneficiaries to undertake suitable capacity
building programme.
Monitoring
and Evaluation:
- SFM team of assessors
will visit very soon after application is received to discuss and evaluate
the need requirements (ie capacity building and food support scheme).
- SFM requires biannual
reports from organisations to evaluate the progress of the capacity
building and the effectiveness of the food support scheme.
- SFM team of doctors
will organise visits to beneficiaries for free health check and minor
treatment.
- Organisations opting
out of the food support scheme for whatever reasons are required to
complete a final narrative report.
- Trustees reserve
the right to visit beneficiaries by prior arrangement.
